
Director/Associate Director/Manager Pulmonary and Nasal Analytical Services
To provide leadership, training and management to the Pulmonary and Nasal Analytical Services Group within Cyanta Analytical Laboratories. Must establish a center of excellence in pulmonary and nasal analytical services and coordinate all aspects of management within the operational organization. Will supervise and assist managers, group leaders and senior level scientists in laboratory operations such as scheduling, resource management, technical and compliance related issues. This position has complete responsibility for organizational and operational activities as related to Pulmonary and Nasal Analytical Services Group. Will plan, direct and implement improvements in systems, processes and procedures to increase efficiency, productivity and quality in the method development laboratories. The position will also assist the Vice President of Operations in strategic planning, business development and expansion initiatives.
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or analytical contract laboratory industries with an emphasis in Pulmonary and Nasal Development; Management experience should include analytical method development, stability, QC, analytical R&D project and program management, direct supervision of technical staff, direction of laboratory operations and implementation of process and system improvements, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Laboratory Manager
BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry with 5 yrs exp. in the operation of major analytical instrumentation & pharmaceutical laboratories; A strong working knowledge of analytical and organic chemistry is required. The candidate will be expected to oversee the work of several chemists/scientists to ensure technical completeness, quality of work, and that established laboratory SOP’s are followed. Experience in methods development/validation, preformulation studies, and quality control testing is required. Working knowledge of multiple techniques such as HPLC, GC, dissolution, GC/MS, LC/MS or other state of the art analytical techniques is required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership abilities are a must for the position. Customer contact and excellent communication, both written and verbal, skills are required. Scientist/Sr. Scientist
BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry with 5 yrs experience in pharmaceutical drug development; an in-depth working knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry required. Strong working knowledge of chromatography, dissolution, and mass spectrometry coupled with the ability to solve challenging, complex analytical problems is required. Ability to independently develop and validate methods as well as generate technical reports a requirement for the position. Excellent communication and customer contact skills are required. The candidates should be highly motivated, posses excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoy working a team oriented, entrepreneurial company; Salary commensurate with level of experience.
Analytical and Organic Chemists
Seeking BS and MS level chemists with 0 - 5 yrs experience in pharmaceutical drug development; strong problem solving skills and the ability to communicate results effectively. The candidates must be able to interact with internal and external clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions to complex problems using analytical instrumentation such as FT-IR, NMR, GC, HPLC, GC/MS, LC/MS, GPC, wet chemistry and other techniques. GMP Reviewer
BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry with 5 yrs experience in a GMP Pharmaceutical Drug Development or Quality Control environment; An in-depth working knowledge of analytical chemistry is required; areas of particular interest: chromatography, dissolution, and mass spectrometry coupled with the ability to review and critically evaluate challenging, complex analytical problems is required. Ability to independently review and critique method development and validation, stability analysis, general testing and investigative analysis, as well as to review technical reports is a requirement for the position. Excellent communication and customer contact skills are required. The candidates should be highly motivated, posses excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoy working a team oriented, entrepreneurial company; Salary commensurate with level of experience.
